Krispy Kreme @ Times Square

I should say luck with Krispy Kreme has been good - at least in most cities that they are in, I have managed to try them!

The first attempt was in Seoul - chilly temperatures and a complimentary sugar glazed donut was stuffed into my hands.

The second brush with it was in Osaka during winter. I remember queueing up and thinking these christmas limited editions had better be greater than great!

This time, Krispy Kreme in KL!

Original Glazed

Always head for the original for the best of KK. So many times I have eaten this, I will never get sick of this soft sugary delight! Compared to J and Co, this does not sink so fast and the sugar glaze forms a crispy layer over the fried dough. A signature since 1930's, there has to be something so timeless that lasted through the ages.

Chocolate Ice Custard Filled

The filling is Bavarian cream (love Dunkin Donuts' version!) but this was a little artificial.

New York Cheesecake

Year ago in Seoul, I wanted to try this so bad. Finally found the flavour in KL! Topped with rich cream cheese frosting and Graham's cracker crunch and filled with cheesecake filling - totally sinful. Cheesecake in a donut, yum!

Oreo Cheesecake

Oreo overload - from the frosting to the cookies to the filling. A slight overkill on cheesecake filling. Preferring NY cheesecake better!

apple pie

Apple Pie

Yet another stunning replication of applie pie in a donut. Loved the green apple bits and how close it tasted like apple pie.

Caramel Cookie

The donut tasted day-old with a denser and drier bite. Nonetheless, the caramel cookie bits shone through - crunchy and sweet.

Chocolate Peanut Butter

Peanut butter so rich and thick, I was in heaven. Literally. Licked my fingers clean for this one!

Krispy Kreme...re-loved!
